NRL – Why Referees deserve more respect

Hello all. Majoritively, I am very negative of the NRL, and the way they handle dramas too severely, aka Storm’s Trophy Heist. I have overreacted a fair bit this year. However I believe that the way NRL clubs, fans and board members are reacting to NRL Referees this year, action needs to be taken. THAT truly is the definition of overreacting. The backlash on referees this year is an absolute farce. Every game that has been determined by less than 6 points has pointed the loss at the referee and the NRL. It is garbage. Teams such as the Dragons, Souths, Eels, Tigers, and the Cowboys have blatantly attacked officials in post match conferences and in the newspapers weekly. Enough is enough.

My Top 10 Banjo Kazooie Stage Songs

Hello hello hello. I love myself some Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie. The soundtracks for these games were second to none and will remain one of the top greatest OSTs ever made. I have downloaded a lot of these tunes onto my MP3 and listen to them daily on my way to work. I want to talk about my ten favorites and give out some nostalgia for all Banjo fans out there. I will the pick the ten in no particular order. It is unfair to rate them and I appreciate the fact most people will agree. Here we go!!

How I Would Have Ended Final Fantasy X

Why hello y’all. Now as a huge Final Fantasy fan (no surprise to regulars), there are a few things I wished I could have changed about the series. Apart from telling the guy “no” whom thought online MMO’s were a good idea, I have always been bothered by the ending of Final Fantasy X. See, Final Fantasy X was an awesome game, with a great story and solid characters. It goes full circle in the end and Tidus forgives his father and Seymour is banished to the Farplane. However there was something gravely wrong with this ending.

Zell Plays Super Mario World – Kain’s Quest

 

Seem a bit odd? Super Mario World mixed with Final Fantasy? When you have ROM hacks, nothing should ever surprise you. In this Super Mario World hack, you take control of Kain, the Final Fantasy IV “traitor” in a world where he must redeem himself. Unfortunately for Kain, Zell fails to redeem him in the way envisioned. Check out where we all went wrong..

 

My Favorite Gaming Youtube Channels

 

Hey peeps. I am going to have a day of promoting others for a change. I am a huge fan of Youtube and love to sit in front of a screen and lose time of day. From video gaming on an emulator, to real Life Wii Sports, from serious to eccentric, from acting to being legitimately scared, everyone can enjoy Youtube like I do. Sit back, relax, and let me talk Youtube channels you may or may not already have seen in regards gaming.

The face of the internet and Youtube. Pewds has Guinness World Records for his Gaming channel. What started off as a guy who screamed a lot when it came to horror games, has pretty much become an icon for gaming videos. Many notable playthroughs are on that channel such as Happy Wheels, Amnesia, and The Walking Dead. His most popular videos are the montages of awkward moments. His charisma, weirdness, and screaming has gotten him where he is. At least he is normal.

Their channel is called Newfz, however they are more commonly known to as Spike and Barley. Similar to Pewdiepie, yet nowhere near the view count, the pair are fans of the horror genre of gaming. The game Afraid of Monsters put these guys on the map with Spike’s odd Eminem voice, and Barley’s high-pitched laugh. In saying that, they both scream a lot too. They are intriguing, fun to watch, and very unpredictable. Until you have watched Spike and Barley, you don’t know “Little Old Man”, “Charles”, and “Paying the Rent”. Give them a watch peeps.

I watched these guys as they were starting out. Egoraptor was a fundamental part of the team and drew me over to the Game Grumps. These guys are hilarious. They have hundreds of videos, mid you all entertaining, and have a real bizarre way of playing normal titles. I remember Jontron and Egoraptor were playing Pokemon Stadium. In that video, Egoraptor picked a Venusaur to take on Jontron. On Egoraptor’s personal channel, he has a Pokemon parody about an angry Venusaur that talks. The merger here.. Gold. Give them a watch.

The serious gamer of the bunch. RadBrad has many walkthroughs of current games that are always new and exciting. He really goes out of his way to make sure his audience keeps up with new videos every day. As popular as he is, he could be still much more popular. RadBrad’s walkthroughs are funny, serious, intense, relaxed, and simply enjoyable. I watched his Walking Dead Survival Instinct playthrough. Game was boring, yet he still made it fun. He is indeed the king of the Youtube Walkthrough. It is hard for me to compete with him in that way 😦

Please tell me you weren’t expecting me to say UberHaxorNova or TobyGames? They are cool but I don’t care for them at the moment. What can I say, who doesn’t love chick gamers? Not enough credit goes to the female gamers and I for one love to play against a chick who wants to rip my head off. Examples are iJustine, who isn’t the best gamer, but she is funny and at least tries. RPGMinx who is pretty good and sounds lovely (I love an accent). She has played often with Pewds lately. Don’t discriminate; subscribe.
